I have been working in segment marketing at W.W. Grainger for 13 years and have been developing and designing relevant creative campaign’s in Manufacturing, Metalworking, Facility Maintenance, Hospitality, Safety, Multifamily Maintenance and The Grainger Show, while keeping brand awareness and our customer top of mind. Over the past few years, there have been shifts in the design language from channel to channel and an overhaul on the Grainger masterbrand. In order to maintain our brand standards and highlight our brand equity, I have worked across channels to help tie in the new initiatives and have lead the initiative for redesign and development of our customer facing direct mail. This new approach relied on collaborative design thinking to help us standardize and templatize where needed while creating strong visual campaigns that resonated with our customers, emphasized our offer and gained share of wallet. Projects and campaigns consisted of a team of internal and external business partners, a copywriter and photographer.
